Today is it.. the beginning of Chasing the Bard podiobook- at least the planning stages. I have a sequel coming out (hopefully) called Digital Magic in time for DragonCon in August, so this is the time for me to get the podiobook ready to run to act as a lead in. A lot has changed since I did my first podiobook, Weaver's Web. For a start my writing has gotten better, I have a better grasp of what I am doing - that's all good. However after listening to all the great offerings I realise that there is going to be much more involved this time around. For a start bed music, special effects, and then... then come the voices. Tee Morris is doing turn around and is coming on board as Will. But I still have to make the choices about how many more voices I have. Puck is the third main character and as well as being a shapechanger he talks *a lot*. So I have to make the decision what to do there. I feel bad about asking people to sign up for such a long haul. I do however have a few roles I wouldn't mind filling. I'll have to make up my mind sharpish as I want to start producing next month and begin posting episodes in March. Still it is good to be at least planning to get back into the pool. My NZ monthly ramble Whispers at the Edge is fun, but I am really looking forward to getting into something more creative. I know it will be a challenge, but I also know it will be a heck of a lot of fun!
