The CT podcast is over and done. Couldn't et all the episodes in order for Podiobooks, though. However it's still live as well as a new one at keithlatch.wordpress.com and congrats on the success of DarkAge on here, it's going really strong!
The snowball is very sensitive, but it does the job. I got it to work for me by setting up a 'recording room' and limiting my recording to the wee hours of the morning when outside noise is lowest. It does make recording a bit more of a chore than having a mic on my desk at my main computer, but the background noise at my computer is unacceptable.
Going back to Fortress Draconis, I wonder if Mike would be more inspired if he allowed comments from fans. When I looked, there was no way to comment on the website. I kind of liked his reading, but the timing was not consistent to the point of aggravation and I gave it up.
Thanks, Kirk, for answering my question about Fortress Draconis. It isn't released on a schedule and has progressed beyond where I was last listening, and that was all I knew. No need to ask him, at least not yet.
I just got more sound effects than I will ever be able to use by going here

and linking Partners in Rhyme in my website.
Go about two-thirds of the way down the page to this
Get a Free Sound Effects Library!
And follow directions.
HI, Kirk, Well done on the podcast!
You ask at the end whether you ought to do more DarkAge. I don't really mind what you want to do, I was listening to see how it ended - not as I expected!
However, you've got all this fancy new equipment (sounds great!) and you just might be ready to branch out and try new things.
Grow!
