Favorite Quote:
To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day.

BAH, I thought I was clever using the Tardis as an image! Nice one, Joe!

Hey Joe! Thanks for listening!

Ep. 27 should be up next weekend, if I get my guest audio on time. There will be 14-16 episodes left after that (depending on if I split a couple of chapters into multiple episodes, which is very possible).

I don't know what the bottom of that list is. Obviously more than I've managed to accrue. I have a very good response on ratings, yes. I'm grateful for every one, good or bad. :)

The Overall Ratings list is a tough one to get on. The very thinnest slivver of ratings makes it there (at the moment it's 13/100ths of a point and only 5/100ths separates the top of the list from the bottom) and I feel very lucky to have as many in the top ten as I do.

:) it's only been a year ... it's doing pretty well and I'm constantly touched and honored by the listers' willingness to go the extra mile.

I know how many ratings and how many people have subscribed on podiobooks. The ratio of raters to subscribers isn't something I know for other books but I can see how many people have rated the books and what my average ratings are.

It might be interesting to get a "browse by rating" screen -- there's not much separating the top ten ranked books there and I know that a lot of good titles don't appear only on the top ten lists.

I'm blessed to be hogging up the top ten in rank and in number of rankings, even if I don't show up on the "top ten subscriptions" lists all the time.

My fans ARE the greatest! :)

"Rating" podiobooks ... If you look at the title page (like South Coast), you'll see -- down below the description -- a place where there are four sets of stars. If you're logged in, you can follow the trail from there to provide a rating on each of the categories.

Selling SciFi is fine, but knowing our luck, it would get sold to FOX, who would promptly cancel the whole network right after deciding to show everything out of order and insisting that each show have a new loveable six year old sidekick introduced... the "Cousin Oliver" fix, in other words.

Anything by Sigler is gold. Splatter-fest all over the place, but he does a good job of making you care about the characters before ripping them into sundry pieces

Seth's Pack Palms series is pretty good. I happen to like mysteries/crime noire kind of stuff, in addtion to scifi and fantasy. Again, good job of making you care about the characters. Like Sigler, they aren't cardboard.

Bill deSmedt's Singularity also has fantastic characters and an amazing story. It's similar to Tom Clancy, but with a scifi twist. If you're into Clive Cussler, then Singularity would do it for you as well I think.

Fiddle and Burn is a daily vignette sort of thing. Hard to explain... but I wish there was more. Jason Pomerantz, the author has a unique sense of humor that I really like... definitely wish we had the 2nd installment.

Tee Morris is awesome. Morevi is amazing. Haven't listened to the remastered edition yet... but I will in time. BIllibub Baddings is sweet. Mixes crime noire and fantasy in a way I was really happy with. It wasn't jarring at all, which was a concern I had going into it. As it stands, I was too busy having fun to be concerned with that. It's really that good

That's what comes to the top of my head. Hopefully my own podiobook will be as good as these.

You mean my impressions of individual podiobooks? Or do you mean podiobooks in general?
