Hi James! It's Austin Girl. My apologies, just now read messages. Yikes! I'm way behind on websites. Looking forward to hearing your books. You can follow me on Twitter @graduategirl

Yes, excellent advice. All the peeps I've known who started the podcast before the book was done, have stopped podcasting all together. And I found it much easier to work with podcast stuff when my episodes were all done and ready. Once you get it up and a promo done, let me know so we can promo swap. :)

I live in SF. It sounded like great fun! Did you learn a lot? I bet. Those guys know a lot about this stuff.
Are you all set up with your first chapter?

Hi James,

Nice to meet another newbie here! Wow, you actually found the site! I'm astonished. I'm still trying to figure out ways to get it listed higher in Google searches. The keywords, alas, just aren't working...

Thanks for your interest, and I'm very happy you liked the "Theater of the Midnight Sun" site. Some episodes are already posted there for download (for the first 3 stories). If you'd like to download them or just play them on the site, go to the home page and click one of the story names on the left, which will take you to that story's page. You can click one of the play buttons on that page to start an episode or right-click the text underneath the button to download it. You can also click the RSS link on the home page to subscribe to the feed if you like.

I've posted 5 episodes to Podiobooks, but I don't think they're actually listed here yet (I don't think they start posting them till you have at least 5 episodes submitted, so I guess it's due). The RSS feed is also listed on iTunes as well if that's easier for you.

Glad the boot camp was productive for you. I saw Sigler at a past convention talking about what he was doing and that pretty much cemented my determination to podcast these stories.

So what podcast project(s) are you working on? A novel? Non-fiction?

Oh, and hey, one of my friends lives in Placerville, too!

Best of luck to you in all your literary endeavors,
Michael McGee

Wow! You are busy! Are you going to Seth's Author Boot Camp? That is probably the way to go if you want to get started. I think the link is: http://authorbootcamp.com
You might already know about it. If not, you can use my code RICH1 to get $200 off the registration price.

As far as the production goes, let me know if you are intrested in trying out a horror short story for my show. If so, it might be a cool way to break in. And a short story is much shorter (duh!) than a novel. Baby steps. :) Good luck!!!!

Hello :)
Thanks for your interest. I am still writing. Or I should say, at this point I am rewriting and adding bits and pieces. I ended up writing three novels, each about 400 pages. I started out writing a spinoff of Harry Potter, but by the middle of the second book I realized it was something more, so I have had to go in a do a bit of surgery. It is taking longer than I thought, but I am having a really good time doing it so I suppose it doesn't matter :)
I plan to do a podcast of it eventually.
