Thanks for the heads-up, mate. Appreciate it.

actually it is written somewhere in the Wikipedia manifesto / Game Rules that "vanity" articles are neither appreciated nor permitted. So if someone else writes about you, your accomplishments etc, that might wash. But if you yourself write it is ...

Thank you for your honest opinion, Mike. It was an idea I was toying around with that i thought was worth considering somewhere down the road. Needless to say, I was keen on what other people's advice would be before I did anything. Cheers again f...

I also know of podcasters with ~30k weekly downloads who had their Wikipedia pages deleted. Not sure what criteria they use.

This is not a good idea. Mainly as it's not in Wikipedia's interests, and the Article will be deleted. The problem is that you're not that well known. To my knowledge only have a Podcast Novel. Only a few of the People here who have Wikipedia pa...

Hello, lads, lasses and fellow writers and subscribers of Podiobooks. I'm thinking of writing my own wikipedia page to further promote my audiobook "Nameless", given it's success and also that I'm going to self-publish my novel this month to furt...

Daniel, thanks for dropping in. Glad you are enjoying 65 Below I had a ton of fun writing it. As far as research: I lived in the area the book was based on, a real town called Salcha (the town is not on a map, but if you look east of Fairbanks about 40 miles you'll see a river with that name, our town spread out for several miles either side of it). The natural area and where Mojo's cabin was were places I had lived and played in real life. As far insight to other bits and pieces best I can say is that I have been around most of what I describe in their. In the military, around law enforcement, worked as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), and am a techno-geek now. And my wife is Korean, so those parts of the cultural description come from 20+ years of exposure. In short 65 Below was my favourite to write because much of it was my own life, with the exception of course of the terrorists and all the killing...that would be too much.

And thanks for the good word on my acting. Since you're from the UK what did you think of my accents? Those are the one thing that I have to rehearse more than anything else. Living in Alaska doesn't keep me terribly exposed to a lot of British voices, other than what I can pick up on BBC America.

Again, thanks for your note. Enjoy the rest of the story and let me know what you think of my other books if you get a chance to listen to them as well.

Hey there! thanks for the kind comment. I'm having some technical difficulties getting set up here on Podiobooks, but I am working them out, and *will* be up and running soon.

I didn't actually use a program to record my voice. I used my dad's trusty H4 Handy Recorder to record episodes and then copied the files from the recorder's disk onto my laptop and used the Cubase editing program to edit them into the neccesary format.

Dr. Who has always been one of my favourites. If you ever had any questions on how to add music, this is the place to be. More experience here than you could throw a stick at. What program did you use to record the audio?

Thanks for commenting mate. I really would've loved to have added intro/outro music, but I chose not to due to my inexperience with producing audiobooks. I also didn't have time due to my writing schedule. So I decided to concentrate on narrative and writing only. I once got a free audiobook with a TV guide known as Dr. Who: The Ressurection Casket. This version came without music and sound effects unlike the retail version. David Tennant's voice alone was enough to carry the story, so I decided to go down that route.

Although, music and sound effects can really add to the drama. So I'll experiment with that stuff next time.

Really enjoying Nameless. Have you thought about adding intro/outro music?
