You create an account and you are given a page that you can minimally modify (background, color, icon) and you tweet or rather enter a momentary happening, such as "Going out to dinner with the in-laws. Hope they don't go on and on about my book.", "Back from dinner. In-laws were enthusiastic about my book. Thought for sure they would put that in the loser side of the tally." Only you have 140 characters to get your point across. It's also a great tool for social networking. More followers you have the more people you can instantly hit with updates about your book.
