Today I received the first posted comment about my podiobook, ACTS OF DESPERATION. It was a fair critique, generally positive with some valid suggestions for improvement. I was thrilled to get it, as it's the first critique I've received from a total stranger on the book. It being my first one, however, I'm not sure what the protocol is with regard to responding. I checked the sites for a few books that have been around for awhile (Nina Kimberly the Merciless classic, Playing For Keeps, etc.) and it looks like some authors respond and others don't. I'm curious as to what the rest of you think about this. If I respond at all, it will be to thank the writer for his comments and leave it at that; I won't respond to any specific points or criticisms he made. I don't want to be Podiobooks' version of Alice Hoffman or Anne Rice. :-)
Thanks.
