De La Torre: Ancient Rising

I was surprised to note that De La Torre: Ancient Rising had been taken off the shelf. Anyone with an idea why this might be? http://www.podiobooks.com/title/ancient-rising-1/ says either at author's request or slow submissions; but the author's website links to the Podiobooks site, and the author seems to have completed the book.
